All events will automatically also be sent out in our monthly Events Newsletter, to a list of 500+ friends, fans, and dancers.

Classes and events are eligible for posting if:

  • The event occurs within a 2hr drive of Portland city center.
  • The event is taught by, produced by, or features dance/music performance or vending by a member of the Guild.
  • The event features belly dance instruction, performance, vending, or music. (The Guild defines 'belly dance' as rooted in, or inspired by, the Middle East diaspora.)

PROMO PHOTOS: please send .jpg photo directly to info@portlandbellydance.org. Photos must be less than 1MB each, and at this time will only be added to the newsletter. While shows may be 21+, submitted photos must be 'family-friendly', suitable for all audiences.

Forms that are not properly filled out may not be added. Events and classes that do not fall under the above guidelines may not be added. 

Eligibility Examples:
-I'm a member who is vending my belly dance-related wares at a trunk show: YES!
-I'm a member who is performing belly dance in a variety show: YES!
-I'm a member who is performing belly dance music at a street fair: YES!
-I'm a member who is producing a belly dance event with workshops, music, and/or performance: YES!

Additional marketing opportunity! If Email us at info@portlandbellydance.org if you would like to offer free ticket(s) to your event in a Guild Giveaway (posted on our FB page, and emailed out to members separately offering a chance to win.) Guild Giveaways are open to all events with no restrictions, including nonmembers and events outside the Portland area.

We need your voice! Members are always welcome to attend Board meetings.
